Call to Order – 6:00 PM
Roll Call
The City Council of the City of Tiffin, Johnson County, Iowa, met in a Special Session on June
27, 2017 at 6:01 p.m. Mayor Steve Berner called the meeting to order. Upon roll being called the
following named council members were present: Al Havens, Peggy Upton, Jo Kahler, Jim
Bartels, Mike Ryan. Also present: City Administrator/Clerk Doug Boldt, Deputy City Clerk
Ashley Platz, City Engineer Ben Carhoff.
Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve agenda by Ryan.
Second by Kahler.
All ayes, motion carried.
Resolutions for Approval
1.Resolution 2017-049 – A Resolution to Approve the Developer’s Agreement for Village
Drive Improvements, RISE Grant Agreement and Acceptance of the Deed for Village
Drive
Motion to approve Resolution 2017-049 - A Resolution to Approve the Developer’s Agreement
for Village Drive Improvements, RISE Grant Agreement and Acceptance of the Deed for Village
Drive by Havens.
Second by Ryan.
Roll Call: Upton, Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler. All ayes, Resolution 2017-049 passed.
2.Resolution 2017-050 – Resolution Approving Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract
and Estimate of Cost for the Clear Creek Commerce Park Improvements – Village Drive
Extension Project
Motion to approve Resolution 2017-050 - Resolution Approving Plans, Specifications, Form of
Contract and Estimate of Cost for the Clear Creek Commerce Park Improvements – Village
Drive Extension Project by Havens.
Second by Bartels.
Roll Call: Bartels, Havens, Ryan, Kahler, Upton. All ayes, Resolution 2017-050 passed.
3.Resolution 2017-051 – Resolution to Award Bid for the Clear Creek Commerce Park
Improvements – Village Drive Extension Project
Motion to approve Resolution 2017-051 – Resolution to Award Bid for the Clear Creek
Commerce Park Improvements – Village Drive Extension Project by Ryan.

Council requested to have all resolutions corrected to say Special Meeting not Regular Meeting.
