All ayes, motion carried C.Discussion and Update on Ladder Truck for Fire Department Discussion: Brian Detert Fire Chief, Randy Morgan Asst Chief and Captain. Fire Association requested that the City pay the installment for the ladder truck. The Council discussed the idea of budgeting this in the future fiscal year budgets. ***GIVE TO BRIAN D*** D.Discussion of Fireworks Ordinance and Specific Zones for Sale Thereof Discussion: Building Official Brian Shay gave ideas of allowing only in the Industrial Park. Council discussed safety issues regarding allowing the sale in other commercial zoning. Discussion regarding speeding around other streets north of HWY 6. 3.Director of Public Work’s Report – Phase 1 of WWTP is mostly complete. 4.Building Official Report – Woodfield 6-7 lots are selling and requesting addressing. 5.City Engineer’s Report – Arterial streets and speed limits. DOT audit for the trail today. Traffic Signals – contacted the DOT and haven’t hearing anything from DOT. 6.City Attorney’s Report – RFR project waiting on 2 property owners. 7.City Administrator’s Report – Railroad crossing. DOT hawk beacon light- pedestrian light to help kids crossing at Deerview Ave. DOT still requires the intersection to meet the Warrants. DOT is aware of the issue at the crossing.
