A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEERS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT,
INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS FOR FY 2023-
2024 (PROJECT NO. 4011.68.095 AND 4011.68.096) CONSTRUCTION PHASE FOR
A NOT -TO -EXCEED AMOUNT OF $95,227
WHEREAS, On August 15, 2023, The City Council awarded a contract to Torres
Sanitation Systems Construction for the Sewer Systems Improvements for Fiscal Year
(FY) 23-24 Project- Project Numbers 4011.68.095 and 4011.68.096; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has contracted on -call professional engineering
services to mobilize projects by streamlining the procurement process for consultant
services, when they are needed; and
WHEREAS, staff submitted a request for Construction Management and
Inspection Services through a solicitation of proposals from the City's pre -approved list of
on -call consultants; and
WHEREAS, Infrastructure Engineers was the sole respondent to submit a
proposal for Construction Management and Inspection Services; and
WHEREAS, the cost for Infrastructure Engineers services is a not -to -exceed
amount of $95,227; and
WHEREAS, cost for these services were included in the project budget and no
additional funds are needed; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends approving the proposal as part of the Infrastructure
Engineers master service agreement with the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereby finds and declares that
the foregoing recitals are true and correct and incorporates them herein as findings and
as substantive part of this resolution.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the proposal
provided by Infrastructure Engineers attached for an amount of $95,227.
Section 3. Authorize the Mayor to execute the Resolution for and on behalf of the
City of Lynwood.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution and
hereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
