AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2007 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2007; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without providing
notice to the Department of Local Government Finance and without receiving
approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2007 budget be amended as follows:
A. Roseview Transit
Delete $38,000.00 from Salaries and Wages
Account number 605.57.057.057.000.1196
Add $20,000.00 to Fleet Maintenance — Repair Parts
Account number 605.57.057.057.000.2213
Add $18,000.00 to Contractual Service
Account number 605.57.057.057.000.3990
