AWARDING CONTRACT FOR A NEW SENIOR CITIZEN BUS
WItEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of a new Senior Citizen bus to serve the senior
residents of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has solicited and received five bid proposals for said
bus as follows:

WHEREAS, Jersey Bus Sales submitted the lowest bid for said bus as evidenced by the
response on file with the Borough Purchasing Agent; and
WHEREAS, the Borough Purchasing Agent has reviewed the above bid proposals and has
recommended the award of a contract to Jersey Bus Sales; and
WHEREAS, the chief financial officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said
purpose.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Carteret as follows:
1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a
contract with Jersey Bus Sales for the purchase of a new Senior Citizen bus for
the sum of $43~819.00, in accordance in all respects with the request for
proposals and bid on same.

and certified as a tree copy of the

according to the terms set forth in RESOLUTION.
