Call to Order: 6:00 p.m. Place: Beaumont Civic Center
Roll Call: Chairman Smith, Commissioner Wirick, Commissioner Tinker,
Commissioner Dale and Commissioner St. Martin were present.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD: None
1) Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 10, 2015.
Recommendation: Approval of the Minutes of February 10, 2015 as presented.
Motion by St. Martin, Seconded by Dale to approve the Minutes of February 10, 2015 as
presented.

2) Scheduled Matters/Public Hearings
a. Variance 154-01, Consideration of a Variance for Reduction in Rear Yard Setback for
Second Unit at 999 Chestnut Avenue. Applicant: Doug Browne
Actions: Receive Staff Report and Hold a Public Hearing
Options:
• Approve Variance No. 15-V-01 as presented, subject to the proposed conditions of
approval;
• Modify and Approve No. 15-V-01, subject to modified conditions of approval; o
• Continue Variance No. 15-V-01; or,
• Deny Variance No. 15-V-01

Motion by Wirick, Seconded by Dale to Approve Variance No. 15-V-01 as presented, subject to
the proposed conditions of approval, with the following added conditions:
4.4 Additional Landscaping shall be approved by the Planning Department and installed to
minimize the visual impact on 10th Street.
4.5 The exterior of the structures shall be painted to the satisfaction of the Planning
Department

• Continue Revocation of Administrative Plot Plan No. 07-APP-81 to April 14, 2015
Planning Commission Meeting.
Motion by Wirick, Seconded by Dale to continue to April 14, 2015 at approximately 6:00 p.m.

C. Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-02; Proposed Establishment of a Wireless
Communications Facility at 11250 Palmer Avenue
Actions: Receive Staff Report and Hold the Public Hearing
Options:
• Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-02, subject to the proposed conditions of
approval with the findings stated herein; or,
• Modify and Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-02; or subject to modified
conditions of approval with the findings stated herein.
• Continue Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-02; or,
• Deny Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-02.
