Call to Order: 6:00 p.m. Place: Beaumont Civic Center
Roll Call: Chairman Smith, Commissioner Wirick, Commissioner Tinker,
Commissioner Dale and Commissioner St. Martin were present.

PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD:
Judy Bingham — Comments about Staff and Contractors
1) Approval of the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of April 12, 2015.
Recommendation: Approval of the Minutes of April 12, 2015 as presented.
Motion by Wirick, Seconded by Dale to approve the minutes as presented.
AYES: Dale, Smith, Wirick ABSTAIN: Tinker, St. Martin (Due to
absence from meeting)
NOES: None ABSENT: None
2) Scheduled Matters/Public Hearings
a. Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-03, Request for Alcohol Sales — Type 86
— Alcohol Tasting "Walmart" Located at 1540 E. Second Street Marketplace
Actions: Receive Staff Report and Take Testimony, and Close the Public Hearing
Options:
• Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-03, subject to the proposed
conditions of approval with the findings stated herein; or,
• Modify and Approve Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-03; or subject to
modified conditions of approval with the findings stated herein.
• Continue Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-03; or,
• Deny Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-03.

with the following added Condition:
7. Walmart shall notify the Beaumont Police Department and Fire Department at
least 24 hours prior to each tasting event.

b. Variance 15-V-02, Consideration of a Variance for Reduction in Front Yard
Setback for TM 31462-7 (Woodside Homes) in Fairway Canyon.
Actions: Receive Staff Report and Hold a Public Hearing
Options:
• Approve Variance No. 15-V-02 as presented, or,
• Modify and Approve No. 15-V-02; or,
• Continue Variance No. 15-V-02; or,
• Deny Variance No. 15-V-02

Motion by Dale, Seconded by St. Martin to Continue Variance 15-V-02 to the regular
meeting of June 9, 2015 with the request that the applicant bring back site plans/plotting
for the lots.

NOES: None ABSENT: None
Comrnissioner Wirick recused himself due to possible conflict due to employment
C. Conditional Use Permit No. 15-CUP-04 (Iron Mountain Machining), Located
at 611 Luis Estrada Rd
Actions: Receive Staff Report and Hold the Public Hearing
Options:
• Approve Conditional Use Permit 15-CUP-04 based upon the findings stipulated
herein, subject to the attached conditions of approval; or,
• Approved Conditional Use Permit 15-CUP-04 with modifications; or,
• Continue Conditional Use Permit 15-CUP-04; or,
• Deny Conditional Use Permit 15-CUP-04.
