Excused absence: Commissioner Tinker Chairman St. Martin Conflict of Interests Disclosure: None Pledge of Allegiance Adjustments to Agenda Vice Chairman Smith None 1. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD (ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA): Any one person may address the Planning Commission on any matter not on this agenda. !f you wish to speak, please fill out a "Public Comment Form" provided at the back table and give it to the City Clerk. There is a three (3) minute limit on public comments. There will be no sharing or passing of time to another person. State Law prohibits the Planning Commission from discussing or taking actions brought up by your comments. Public Hearing closed at 6:55 p.m. Motion to continue to approve Plot Plan No. 15-PP-03, Mitigated Negative Declaration 16-MND-01, Sign Program and Conditional Use Permits 16-CUP- 09, 16-CUP-10, and 16-CUP-11 based upon the findings stipulated herein, subject to the attached conditions of approval by Commissioner Tinker Second by Commissioner Dale Approved by a 4-0 vote Absent: Rearick C. Conditional Use Permit No. 16-CUP-07, Proposed Development Outdoor Arena Soccer Facility at 1399 E 6th Street Staff Report given by Planner, Kyle Warsinski. Public Hearing opened at 7:13 p.m. Miguel Medrano — Spoke as the applicant and answered question from the Commission Public Hearing closed at 7:17 p.m. Motion to approve Conditional Use Permit 16-CUP-07, subject to the attached conditions of approval as well as the added conditions requested of curb, gutter and sidewalk construction and the replacement of damaged asphalt along 6tt, Street by Vice Chairman Smith Second by Commissioner Dale Approved by a 4-0 vote Absent: Rearick d. Conditional Use Permit 14-CUP-14 (Total Quality Construction) 513 Michigan Avenue, Request for One Year Extension Staff report given by Economic Development Director, Rebecca Deming City of Beaumont December 13, 2016 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 3 of 3 No Speakers Motion to approve a one year extension of time for the approval of Conditional use Permit 14-CUP-14 by Commissioner Tinker Second by Vice Chairman Smith Approved by a 4-0 vote Absent: Rearick Consensus to combine items a and f. Vice Chairman Smith roused himself due to a conflict of interest. e. Minor Plot Plan No. 16-MPP-10; Sundance Specific Plan, Planning Area 42 (TM 31469-1) f. Plot Plan No. 16-PP-05 (Lunetta II) Sundance Specific Plan, Planning Areas 36; Located Southwest of Cougar Way and Starlight Avenue Staff Report given by Economic Development Director, Rebecca Deming Public Hearing opened and closed at 7:25 p.m. Motion to approve Minor Plot Plan 16-MPP-10 as presented and Approve Plot Plan 16-PP-05 as presented, and authorize the use of the approved standards and elevations in Planning Areas 35, 36, 37, 38 or 39 with approval of a Minor Plot Plan by the Community Development Director for verification of setbacks by Commissioner Tinker Second by Commissioner Dale Approved by a 3-0 vote Absent: Rearick Recused: Smith Planning Director Comments Economic Development Director gave a reminder of the Planning Commission upcoming vacancies.
