Attendees: Shawn Gillen George Shaw, Jackson Butler, Haley Hill, Chantel Morton, Laura Schmarkey, Sarah Jones
City Manager Shawn Gillen called the meeting to order. The first order of business is to select a chair person.
New Business:
Selection of Chair Person Shawn Gillen nominated Jackson Butler as Chairperson. Chantel Morton seconded the nomination. The vote was unanimous
Inventory Current Plans/drawings
Shawn stated that the committee is charged with discussing the scope of work and inventory the plans.
The committee discussed the following:
The 2007 plans are not usable.
The 2012 plans are obsolete.
Basically, what the committee has to do is start with what we currently have and go from there.
We need an overlay and will bring Fire Department in on the committee.
Council has charged that the committee be finished by the end of the year.
The Historic Registry did not change things.
City Hall needs to be refurbished.
Still operates for services
Two – three offices/departments
Safer work environment
Security
Auditorium
Shared Facility
Newer Office facilities for city staff
New fire facility-including bays
