RESOLUTION NO. 23-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO RELATING TO
FOUND PERSONAL PROPERTY; CONVERTING FOUND PERSONAL PROPERTY TO CITY
PROPERTY; AUTHORIZING THE USE OF FOUND PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR RELATED
MATTERS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of McCall, Idaho ("City") has acquired certain found personal property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed it necessary and in the public's interest to convert found
property for City use; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, desires to convert found property Troy-Bilt, Storm 2410 snowblower,
serial number 1607281B0566 to be used for City needs; and
WHEREAS, on December 21, 2023 and December 28, 2023, a Notice of Intent to Convert Personal
Property was published in the Star News announcing the City's intent to convert the above referenced
property to City use in the event that the owner did not come forth with a claim to the same and no person
having come forth with a viable claim of ownership.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the City Council of McCall, Idaho as follows:
Section 1: The McCall City Police Department has been in possession of a Troy-Bilt, Storm 2410
snowblower, serial number 1607281B0566 for more than ninety (90) days and no person claiming to be
the owner thereof has come forth to claim possession of the same.
Section 2: The City Council finds that the City has a need for found property Troy-Bilt, Storm 2410
snowblower, serial number 1607281B0566.
Section 3: The City Council authorizes the conversion of found property Troy-Bilt, Storm 2410
snowblower, serial number 1607281B0566 to be used by the McCall Police Department to maintain
clear sidewalks around the Police Department in the winter, all for the health, safety and welfare of the
citizens and visitors to the City of McCall, Idaho.
Section 4: This Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of McCall,
Valley County, Idaho, this 28 day of December 2023.
