Network Infrastructure, Projects and Services:
Progress on the CARES grant is moving forward. Fiber pulling and Splicing contract has been awarded to Das-Co and the expect to begin the pulling October 5th. Splicing will begin a couple
weeks later.
Ednetics is the vendor that will perform the wireless upgrade to the Library. Staff met with their engineers and built a design that will give excellent coverage internally and externally
surrounding the network. Vlatko will be the project manager coordinating this installation. It is anticipated that this project will be complete and online by mid-November.
Idaho Site Prep has begun work on the Deinhard Loop portion of their project awarded as part of CARES. They expect to complete the project by early November.
Projects in Process:
The Lick Creek\Spring Mountain Blvd conduit install (Buried Conduit, Phase 2) competed the Spring Mountain Blvd portion.
