1. Airport Master Plan:
The Airport Master Plan project continues. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has
approved Chapter 4 "Aviation Forecasts ". Approval permits official work to begin on Chapter
5 "Facility Requirements ".
A public meeting was held on November 17th. Fifteen citizens participated. The most frequently
received comment concerned additional hangars.
2. FY21 Airport Improvement Project (AIP):
Preliminary planning is underway on the FY21 AIP Project, an East-West taxiway. Survey and
geotechnical sampling have been completed.
$150,000 is currently available for design and should occur in FY21. The amount of construction
funding depends on congressional funding levels. If the funding amount is insufficient, construction
may be pushed back to FY22.
