Staffing
Information Systems regrets to announce that Vlatko Jovanov has resigned effective March 24th, 2023. We are sad to see him go, but we are grateful for the time and effort he has dedicated
to our organization. Vlatko has been an integral part of the team and has contributed greatly to our success. He will be taking a new role as Network Administrator for the City of
Meridian. This is a good move for him and his family and we wish him well as he takes this next step in his career.
Information Systems has begun the process of finding a replacement for Vlatko's position as a Network Administrator. Hopefully, we will find a replacement quickly.
Hardware
The staff has completed an upgrade of the two (2) core switches serving our Nutanix Virtual environment. These core switches are configured in a redundant array to provide resiliency
from failure. The new switches will provide additional speed as well as continued vendor support and updates.
