1. Projects
Information Systems staff is working with McCall PD and Parks and Rec to deploy cameras to
several parks (Skate park, Art Roberts, Legacy, Browns, Marina etc.) around the community.
The goal is to help reduce issues with vandalism and other issues in those areas. The cameras
being deployed upload video to a cloud-based portal removing the need for a DVR. This
system has been used successfully by Public Works with a camera focused on the pump station
at Legacy park. The interface utilizes AI to make searching simple.
Library internet service was interrupted when construction on the Library hit the fiber
connecting the Library to City Hall. Staff were able to restore service quickly as we had a
second ethernet (copper) connection that was reconnected to temporarily restore service while
the fiber was repaired.
