SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The appointed members of the McCall Area Youth Council (MAYC) would like to present the results of their learning, and research from the first semester of MAYC Meetings and project inquiry.
The group has worked with City and School Staff to identify areas of interest for the first school year, as well as explore possible community partnerships and MAYC programs to support
the needs of the Youth Community.
The group has conducted a baseline survey of High School age youth to understand the role of adolescents in the local economy, as well as surveyed local restaurants regarding opportunities
for a youth discount program.
The group will review project/learning goals identified in the MAYC Fall Semester 2022 Report, included in your Meeting Packet, as well as discuss projects and learning goals on the
horizon for the Spring 2023 Semester and future MAYC Cohorts.
