SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Engineer’s Estimate for the project construction cost, which accounts for the current volatile construction market, was $208,742.98 for the combination of the Base Bid and Bid Alt
#1. The city advertised for bids and received one bid from Dyrud Construction. The received bid is 80.31% above the Engineer’s Estimate. Staff recommends that the bid be rejected and
the project be rebid this summer.
The Engineers’ recommendation is attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Reject the Bid from Dyrud construction for the McCall Gold Course Clubhouse Access Improvements – Phase 2.
