SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On May 26, 2023, Council held a Work Session that reviewed draft findings, policies, funding tools, and actions related to the future maintenance and development of public parks, recreation
programs, facilities, and open space recommended in the 2023 McCall Parks, Recreation and Open Space (PROS) Plan. As a result of the work session and additional comments from staff
and members of the City of McCall Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, the consultant team, Logan Simpson, was able to develop the final draft for adoption. On June 14, 2023, the
PROS Plan was presented to the McCall Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee for final review and was unanimously recommended for adoption to City Council.
Attached is the final draft of the McCall Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan and a resolution for its adoption as a City of McCall planning document.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Resolution 23-11 adopting the McCall Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
