SUMMARY STATEMENT:
One of the Golf Course Master Plan priorities is to level existing tees and build new forward tees. The plan is to have 9 holes worked on each fall until the project is complete. A request
for proposals was issued in July for the project and one bid from Landscapes Unlimited LLC was received. Staff reviewed the bid and determined it was responsive and within the budget.
Landscapes Unlimited LLC finished Birch tees this summer and would like to do Aspen tees while still in the area. This will save on mobilization costs. A portion of this bid is to repair
cart paths next to tees which is a project that also has Local Option Tax funding to complete.
The city attorney is reviewing the contract.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award the Golf Course Aspen Tee Renovation Fall 2023 contract to Landscapes Unlimited, LLC in the amount of $365,798.50, authorize staff to manage change orders up to 10% of the contract
amount, and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
