SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The mission of the McCall Public Art Advisory Committee (PAAC) is to make recommendations to the City Council regarding public art projects and policies within the City of McCall. The
Public Art Advisory Committee was formed in 2012 by resolution of City Council (Resolution 12-13), consisting of five members appointed by City Council. Resolution 19-10, adopted by
City Council on June 13, 2019, expanded the committee size from five (5) to seven (7) members. Members are appointed to three-year terms and are allowed to serve two consecutive terms.
Dawn Matus was appointed to the committee in October 2020 and has completed one three-year term. Dawn is requesting to be appointed to the committee for a second three-year term to expire
October 2026.
Attached is a copy of the letter of interest submitted by Dawn Matus for her committee appointment in 2020. Since then, she has served as interim committee chair when the committee chair
is unable to attend meetings and has participated in artwork selection for the Library Integrated Public Artwork project.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Dawn Matus to a second three-year term on the McCall Public Art Advisory Committee, expiring October 2026.
