SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Airport has taken steps to minimize incompatible land use in the Airport Impact Area and has requested Avigation Easements from landowners within three miles of the airport as part
of the Planning and Zoning permit approval. In September 2022, Council approved an Avigation Easement Template.
Hidden Valley is a four-lot subdivision at the top of Norwood Hill. It is less than one mile from the end of Runway 34 (south end). Mr. Szeliga has signed this Avigation Easement, and
the Mayor and Clerkâs signatures are required for the easement to be recorded in the final Valley County plat approval.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Edward Clay Szeliga Avigation Easement for Hidden Valley Subdivision, authorize the Mayor to sign the easement and direct the City Clerk to submit the signed and notarized
document to Valley County to be recorded.
