SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Golf Course Clubhouse ramp has been deteriorating for several years and is not up to ADA requirements. Staff have been trying to get it replaced. The clubhouse is open year-round,
has a leased-out restaurant (Banyans), and hosts Rotary once a week. We have gotten some funding through LOT to help with this project. Spring of 2023 we went out to bid with hopes
of rebuilding it during the summer. Because of the large number of projects in the area this summer, we only received 1 bid and it was 80% over the estimate. Staff recommended and Council
approved to reject the bid. We went back out to bid this winter to see if we could get more interest in the project. We received 3 bids and Kyle Hickman with Crestline will evaluate
them compared to the estimate and staff will update the packet and bring a recommendation to the Council meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve contract award to ____________ for the Clubhouse Access improvements in the amount of __________________ ; authorize the mayor sign all necessary documents; and allow staff to
manage change orders/modifications within 10% of the original Contract amount.
