The City Council of Medina, Minnesota met in special session on March 24, 2016 at 9:30
a.m. at the locations noted below in Medina, MN.
I. Call to Order
Members present: Anderson, Martin, and Mitchell
Members absent: Cousineau and Pederson
Also present: City Administrator Scott Johnson, Assistant City Administrator
Jodi Gallup, Public Works Director Steve Scherer, City Planner Dusty Finke, and Police
Chief Ed Belland.
IL 2016 Spring Business Tours
OAK Eatery — 190 Westfalen Trail — City Council and staff met with Dawn Nelson.
She provided a tour and information on her business to the City Council. OAK recently
held their grand opening and support has been strong from residents for the new
restaurant.
Metro Dentalcare — 212 Clydesdale Trail, Suite 1040 — (Council Member Anderson
was unable to attend this business tour) - City Council and staff met with Talitha Rieken.
Metro Dentalcare has been open almost three years. They are looking for new patients
and have room to grow.
Walter G. Anderson — 4535 Willow Drive - (Council Member Anderson was unable to
attend this business tour) — City Council and staff met with John Lackner. Mr. Lackner
provided information on the business and provided a tour of the facility. He requested
help with contacting the State about grants or funding to train staff.
III. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 a.m.
