AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Forty -Eight Thousand
Dollars ($48 ,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for d esign of p ublic I/I
removal in Lemay Public I/I Reduction and Rehabilitation (2022) Contract A (12590) in the Cities
of Shrewsbury, Webster Groves, Maplewood, and Richmond Heights, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to amend Contract No. 11003 with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co., Inc. for d esign
of p ublic I/I removal.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13476 , adopted October 11, 2012 , appropriated the
initial funding for a nd authorized Contract No. 11003 ; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty -Eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for d esign of p ublic I/I removal in
Lemay Public I/I Reduction and Rehabilitation (2022) Contract A (12590) in the Cities of
Shrewsbury, Webster Groves, Maplewood, and Richmond Heights, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend Contract No. 11003
with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co., Inc. for d esign of p ublic I/I removal in Lemay Public
I/I Reduction and Rehabilitation (2022) Contract A (12590) in the Cities of Shrewsbury, Webster
Groves, Maplewood, and Richmond Heights, Missouri; and said contract sh all be comprised of
such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 13, 2020.
