AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Eight Hundred Forty -
Three Thousand Dollars ($843,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
intergovernmental agreement and local match for sewer construction in Harlem Baden Relief
Phase IV (Hebert) – Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation (11800) in the Cities of St. Louis and Hillsdale,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds to Contract No. 21732 with
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Inc. for sewer construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15041, adopted October 11 , 2018, appropriated the
initial funding for a nd authorized Contract No. 217 32 ; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligatio n authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Forty-Three Thousand Dollars
($843,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
intergovernmental agreement and local match for sewer construction in Harlem Baden Relief
Phase IV (Hebert) – Trunk Sewer Rehabilitation (11800) in the Cities of St. Louis and Hillsdale,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to appropriate additional funds
to Contract No. 21732 with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Inc. for intergovernmental agreement
and local match for sewer c onstruction in Harlem Baden Relief Phase IV (Hebert) – Trunk Sewer
Rehabilitation (11800) in the Cities of St. Louis and Hillsdale , Missouri; and said contract shall be
comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel
of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted on August 13, 2020.
