AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1994 -10
BEING THE 1995 SALARY ORDINANCE FOR THE
CITY OF GREENCASTLE
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, that
Ordinance No. 1994 -10, "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF DEPARTMENTS OF CITY
GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES
OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER ,APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR
THE YE4R 1995" is hereby amended as follows:
1. Section Two is amended to read as follows:
•
SECTION TWO That the Police Department shall consist of nineteen (19) full time members and
in addition, part time dispatchers In the maximum allowable number and five (5) part time school crossing
guards. Base pay ranges. including the maximum, shall be as follows:
P5 - Police Chief
P5 - Assistant Police Chief
P4 - Captain (3)
P3 - Sergeant (3)
P2 - Patrolman (4)
P2 - Probationary Patrolman (1)
P1 - Parking Violations Officer
C3 - Police Department Secretary
C3 - Dispatchers (4)
Dispatchers(part time @ 5.75 hr)
Crossing Guards(5 @ 9.85 da)

2. Section Six is amended to read as follows:
SECTION SIX That the Park and Recreation Department shail consist of one (1) full time member.
nine (9) seasonal employees and twenty -one (21) pool lifeguards. Base pay ranges, inducing the maximum.
shall be as follows:
L5 - Park and Recreation Director
Seasonal Assistant Director(1 @6.50 hr)
Pool Manager(1@ 8.13 hr)
Assistant Pool Manager (1 @ 6.00 hr)
Seasonal Maintenance (2 @ 4.75 hr)
Pool Admissions /Concessions (6 @ 4.75 hr)
Pool Lifeguards (21 @ 4.75 -5.20)
w/o WSI -4.75, 4.85, 4.95
w/ WSI -5.00, 5.10, 5.20
