INTRODUCTION OF NEW POLICE OFFICERS:
ORAL/WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS: Anyone wishing to address the City
Council on any matter not on the agenda of this meeting may do so
now. The Oral Communications portion of the agenda is to hear
public comment. If any question or concern arises related to any
issue not on the agenda, it will be referred to staff for
appropriate response. Anyone wishing to speak on an item on the
agenda may do so at the time the Council considers that item.
All persons wishing to speak should fill out a "Request to Speak
Form" and give it to the Deputy City Clerk at the beginning of
the meeting. The forms are available on the railing at the front
of the Council Chambers, and on the table at the back.
1. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Motion to approve Consent Calendar items by one motion.
a. minutes of the regular City Council Meeting held may 8,
1995. (CM)
b. Approval of warrant list and payroll for may 22, 1995.
(FIN)
C. Consideration of an Application pursuant to Resolution
1993-66 for a Single-family Sewer Connection Permit in the
unincorporated area of Riverside County for Marie E.
Meyers.
2. PUBLIC HEARING:
a. A public hearing called by Resolution No. 1995-17
regarding establishment of Improvement Area No. 13 of
Community Facilities District 93-1, Authorization of the
Levy of a Special Tax to pay for certain services in and
for such Improvement Area.
Recommendation: Conduct public hearing, receive comments
on formation of Improvement Area No. 13.

3. REGULAR MEETING ITEM:
a. Resolution No. 1995-24, Establishing Improvement Area
No. 13 of Community Facilities District No. 93-1,
providing for a Special Tax within Improvement Area No. 13
to pay for certain public services and Calling a Special
Election within Improvement Area No. 13 to submit to the
Qualified Electors of Improvement Area No. 13 the Question
of Levying such Special Tax and Establishing an
Appropriations Limit for the Community Facilities District
with respect to Improvement Area No. 13 and designating
the City Clerk of the City as the election official.
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 1995-24.
(ADJOURN MEETING IF PROPERTY OWNER IS PRESENT)
b. To enable City Clerk to consent holding election within
125 days, to distribute ballot pamphlet and to enable the
property owner to vote its ballot should the property
owner choose to do so.
4. RECONVENED REGULAR MEETING:
a. Resolution No. 1995-25, declaring the result of a
Special Election within Improvement Area No. 13 of
Community Facilities District 93-1.
Recommendation: Adopt Resolution No. 1995-25 if ballot
has been returned.
b. Ordinance No. 752, authorizing the Levy of a Special
Tax within Improvement Area No. 13 of Community
Facilities District 93-1 (First Reading).
Recommendation: Approve Ordinance No. 752 if election
authorizes levy of Special Tax.
5. Consideration of Preliminary Budget.
Recommendation: No staff recommendation at this time.
