Meyer moved to approve the minutes of the May regular meeting. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Van Heiden moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report for May. Buseman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Van Heiden moved to approve the following bills for payment. Eilderts seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Art and Tammy Jurchen were present to discuss parking issues on 1st St. At this time the council feels that it is an enforcement issue. Mayor Nederhoff will follow up with Deputy Ron Tordoff. Mortenson Construction requested a key to the Memorial Building for use as a storm shelter for their employees. Eilderts moved to provide the Fire Department with a key. The building will be designated as a storm shelter with the Fire Department opening the building as necessary. Buseman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Mayor Nederhoff recommended Rod Fuller and Glenn Bakker to fill the vacant positions on the Library Board. Van Heiden moved to approve this recommendation. Buseman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to approve the FY 2015 Sheriff’s Contract. Meyer seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to approve the Fire Department FY 2015 budget request. Buseman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Buseman moved to approve the transfer of the Wellsburg Community Club liquor license for Wellsburg Daze. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Buseman moved to approve closing 3rd St. between Adams St. and Jefferson St. Saturday, June 14th for the Wellsburg Daze Street Dance. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Buseman moved to approve beer permit for the Shabby Shack. Van Heiden seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Eilderts moved to approve the Cigarette Permit for Casey’s General Store. Werkman seconded the motion. All ayes, carried. Van Heiden moved to adjourn the meeting. Meyer seconded the motion.
