AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1996 BUDGET
WHEREAS Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, adopted a
budget for calendar year 1996, and
WHEREAS Common Council has determined it is necessary to transfer money
from one major budget classification to another within a department
or office, and
WHEREAS the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the
total amount set out in the budget as finally determined under
Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1 et seq., and
WHEREAS this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without
notice and without the approval of the State Board of Tax
Commissioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 1996 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund - Law Department
1 . Delete $20,000.00 from Legal Services
Existing account no. 101-01-005-0501-3-3120
2 . Add $15,360.00 to Salary
Existing account no. 101-01-005-0501-1-1196
3. Add $1,180.00 to Social Security
Existing account no. 101-01-005-0501-1-1220
4. Add $275.00 to Medicare
Existing account no. 101-01-005-0501-1-1222
5. Add $950.00 to P.E.R.F.
Existing account no. 101-01-005-0501-1-1230
6. Add $2,220.00 to Group Medical
Existing account no. 101-01-005-0501-1-1231
7. Add $15.00 to Group Life
Existing account no. 101-01-005-0501-1-1234
