RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS 100 Leaves
June 1, 1970
The regular City Council meeting was held June 1, 1970 at the
town building. Meeting was called to order at 8 :05 P.M. by
Mayor Richard Leonard. Council members present were: Steve
Morrow, Ronald.Tucker, Charles Bridge, James Winter, Lloyd
Frye and John Salazar. Town Clerk Alta Gesellman and also
Robert Florquist.
Minutes of the last regular meeting were read and approved as
read.
Open discussion on the water system was held. Several means
of improving the intake system were discussed. No decision arr&
ivied at at this time. Council members and Mayor to tour
water system intake on Thrusday &ai June 4th. To take care
of the breaks in the mains at present time Gary.Tunstead was
called to see if he could do the work.
Clerk was ask to see if she could get Final plans of the
lay out of the water system from Pepple Howell Consulating
Engineers. The orginal plans have been lost.
Mr. Florquist stated that he was resigning from the Grand
County Planning Committee and felt that we should appoint
someone from Fraser to the committee. When appointment is
made a letter must be sent to County Commissioners and the
Planning Committe of our support of appointee.

Moved by Ronald Tucker, 2nd by Steve Morrow and carried that
the bills be allowed.
Moved by Ronald Tucker, 2nd by Steve Morrow and carried
that Clifford Clayton be given a cash advance of $300.00
on money owed him for work done on the city water.. Total
bill to be submitted by him before next regular meeting.
Ten customers of the water system are in arrears. Clerk
instructed to write letter to customers and ask that these
bill be paid before next regular meeting.
Steve Morrow said that the county had said that they would
donate gravel for the city streets. City must do own
hauling of gravel.
Moved by Charles Bridge, 2nd by James k Winter and carried
that meeting adjourn at 9:15 P.M.`
