N.B. The 6,5500. of Va.ccntury bonds were sold at 94 and the
proceeds applteu to the payment and cancellation of the 915000.
Turnpike Bonds for report see page 107 Counctl Journal.
Your Commttte recommend that the Treasurer be directed to
loan out upon security approved by your Commtttcc or depostt In
the Savings Lcpt. of the Peoples National or Loudoun Nattonal Bank
at once the sum of 6,5000. so as to begin to liquidate the Town
Hall bonds which will become uuc in 1902.

Upon motion it was resolved that the foregoing report be approved
and recorded,and it appearing therefrom that there is a surplus in
hangs of the Treasurer,it was on motion further Resolved,that said
Treasurer be directed to loan out on good security approved by the
Finance Committce,for ore year,the sum of 6,4500, and in default of
such loan after 30 days to deposit the same in the Savtngs Jept.
of The Peoples Nati-Bank of Leesburg according to the rules of said
Bank.
Ordered that the MAYOR instruct the Sergeant and Dight -watchman
as to their uuti.es,in wrtting,so that the peace and good order of
the Town may be preserved.
