At a Regular meeting of the Mayor and Common council of the
Town of Leesburg, Vi rgtni a, held December 27th,1901.
Present,The Mayor, Recorder and Couricilmen,Garrett ,Swartz,Bit zer,
Casey,Rollins,Norris,Fouche and Divine.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Petitton of W.j .1iempstone to have an Electric Light placed on
King Street opostte the property of Mrs Beverley,was read,and
the same wr,,s thereupon referred to the Light Committee to act.
The resignation of J.B.McCabe as School Trustee was presented to
Counci1,accepted, and thereupon B.F.Head was elected to fill the
vacancy.
Bills of the Relief. Fire Company and The United Fire Company for
w120. each,were presented and ordered paid.
There being no further bustness,Counctl adiourned.
