AUTHORIZING UEZ ADMINISTRATION BUGET FOR FY2004
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, an Urban Community, participates with the
State of New Jersey in the UEZ Program which utilizes 67% of the 3% sales tax in
the administration of this program; and
WHEREAS, the administrative budget in the amount of $55,933.00 has been
submitted to the governing body of the Borough of Caxteret for review; and
WHEREAS, the funds shall be used to subsidize the administrative costs of the
UEZ Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the Borough
of Carteret does approve submission of said UEZ budget for the FY2004.
Adopted this 8th day of May, 2003 and
certified as a true copy of the original
on May 9th, 2003.
