At a Regular meeting of the mayor and Common-counctl of the town of
L--esburg Va.;held on June 13th,1^02.
Present B.V.Plhita, Mayor, B.W.Franklin, Recorder, and Councilmen,
L.C.R011tns,P.F.Shroff,fi.A.Thompson,S.J.Johnston,3.H.Dail, 0.1I.
Casey,Arthur E1gtn,R.B.Wildman,L.H.Sampsell,C.R.;iorrts,G.E.RtnY.er
and 11,1.1 -:.Garrett.
The minutes of the last meeting were real ana approved.
W.A.Edwards and M.T.Whttmore were nominated as Candidates for Town
Sergeant and R'.A.Edwards having recetved�a majority of the votes
cost,was declared elected.
S.T.Iitckman and S.J.Johnston were nominated as Candidates for
Treasurer,and S.J.Johnston having received a majority of the votes
cast was declared elected.
S.B.Paxsor.'s tern^. as School Trustee having eiptred,the names of
said Paxson and T.R.Galleher were put in nomination as candidates
and said Galleher having rcceivcd a majority of the votes cast was
declared elected.
W.11.19ebb was by a unantmous vote elected Night-watchman for the
Town for the current year.
The Mayor appointed the following standing committees anu Street
