Good Morning,
All of you are likely aware of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) that became effective on November 15, 2021. Please see the attached letter for additional information regarding
BIL funding for airports.
In preparation for the Helena ADO to implement this new program, we request each airport sponsor to provide an updated Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) by the following deadlines:
· Primary Airports must submit updated 5-year capital improvement plans reflecting anticipated BIL funding to the Helena ADO by March 15, 2022
· General Aviation (GA) Airports planning to use BIL funding in FY 2022 must submit updated 5-year capital improve plans reflecting anticipated BIL funding to the Helena ADO
by March 15, 2022
· All remaining airports must submit updated 5-year capital improvement plans reflecting anticipated BIL funding to the Helena ADO by November 1, 2022
We expect CIP submittals to be sent to Scott Eaton, HLN ADO Planner (scott.eaton@faa.gov<mailto:scott.eaton@faa.gov>) with your corresponding project manager copied. Please refer to
the attached letter regarding BIL funding considerations to keep in mind while developing your capital improvement plan.
