RESOLUTION 2006-64
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
DELEGATING APPOINTIVE AUTHORITY TO THE TOWN MANAGER FOR
REPRESENTATION ON THE PUBLIC AGENCY RISK SHARING AUTHORITY OF
CALIFORNIA (PARSAC) BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS; Town of Truckee by authority of Order Agreement on November 19,1993,
entered into a Joint Powers Agreement and Participation Agreement with PARSAC on its behalf
for the purpose of obtaining coverage in the Liability and Workers Compensation Programs of
the Public Agency Risk Sharing Authority of California (PARSAC); and
WHEREAS; the agreements entitle the Town to representation on the PARSAC Board of
Directors; and
WHEREAS; the Town Council wishes to delegate its appointing authority to the Town
Manager to assign Town representation to the PARSAC Board of Directors, and other
appointments as is beneficial for the Town's participation as a member of PARSAC;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL that the
Town Manager is directed to make the necessary appointments to the position of Director and
Alternate Director to the PARSAC Board of Directors, and other appointments as are beneficial
to the Town's participation as a member of PARSAC, on behalf of the Town of Truckee.

The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council Member Susman, seconded
by Vice Mayor Green at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town Council, held on the 21st
day of December, 2006 and adopted by the following vote:
AYES:
Council Member Susman, Vice Mayor Green, Council Members Brown,
Wallace Dee, and Mayor Anderson.
NOES:
None.

None.
