AUTHORIZING FUNDING FOR
SWIFTREACH NETWORKS, INC. - REVERSE 911
WHEREAS, on May 1, 2003, the Borough of Carteret ("Borough")
passed Resolution No. 03-129 for a professional services contract for the
implementation and installation of an emergency notification system (reverse
911) with Swittreach Networks, Inc. ("SNT'); and
WHEREAS, the Borough needs to provide a source of funding in
anticipation of actual transmission of emergency telephone messages to be
disseminated to the Borough's residents; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or
will be available for the same.
NOW, TltE~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the Borough hereby designates funds in an amount not
to exceed $5,000.00 for use by Swit~reach Networks, Inc., for the
transmission of emergency warning telephone messages to the
Borough's residents.
2. That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Swit~reach
Networks, Inc. and the Borough's Purchasing Department.
Adopted this 8th day of May, 2003
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 9th, 2003.
