Thank you for the opportunity to apply for the vacant councilperson
position.
I am a retired Federal Employee. 1 worked at Fort Pulaski NM for 38 years
with National Park Service, and retired in 2011. I worked in several different
positions to include, Maintenance Worker, Painter, Carpenter and from
1996 until 2011, 1 was Supervisory Facility Management Specialist GS -11-5.
This position included planning projects, requesting funding through Facility
Management Software System. I supervised 5 full time employees, and as
many as 15 part time employees during the Summer season. I managed a
budget of approximately $500,000. I also acted as the Contracting Officers
Technical Representative on all projects in the park. Projects like road
paving, numerous Historic Preservation projects, design and construction of
numerous water systems, and drain fields. I have a wide variety of skills in
mechanical work, carpentry, painting, IT, drainage/ water control, grounds
maintenance, and historic preservation. I served as City Councilman on
Tybee City Council from 1996 until 1998, and serverd as Mayor Protem
from 1998 until 2000.

Graduate Benedictine Military Shool, Savannah Ga.
Savannah Vocational School, HVAC
Numerous historic preservation classes, and OSHA training
