ORDINANCE NO. 00 -840
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TEMPLE CITY AMENDING SECTION 3328 OF THE TEMPLE
CITY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATIVE TO PLACEMENT OF AN
OVERNIGHT PARKING PERMIT ON A VEHICLE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Section 3328 of the Temple City Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as
3328. PLACEMENT OF PERMIT ON VEHICLE.
The parking permit shall be visibly placed on the lower left -hand corner (driver's side) rear
window, and the permit shall not be effective unless so placed. A permit to park overnight by the
provisions of the foregoing sections of this Article does not authorize parking that is otherwise prohibited
by State Law or other provisions of the Temple City Traffic Code.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and to its approval
by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in the Temple City Weekly, a newspaper circulated
in the City of Temple City.

I do hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 00 -840, was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Temple City held on the 18th day of January 2000,
and was duly passed, approved, and adopted by said Council, approved and signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk, at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 1st day of February 2000,
by the following vote:
AYES: Councilman- Gillanders, Souder, Wilson, Breazeal, Brook
NOES: Councilman -None
ABSENT: Councilman -None
