An ordinance to require The -Wabhington & Old Dominion
Railway Company to provide a watchman at the crossing of King
Street and the railroad track, in the corporate limits of
the To,,in of Leesburg, in Virginia and providing punishment
for its failure to comply with this ordinance.
Be it ordained by the Council of the Town of Leesburg,
in Virginia that, in the opinion of the counsel of the said
town, the public interest requires that all trains shall be
flagged at King Street where the said street is crossed by
the said railroad track within the corporate limits of the
said town and the mt?yor of the .^,aid town is directed to give
the superintendent or manager of the said railroad company
written notice that the same is required from the date here-
of and it shall be the duty Of the said flagman to give notice
to allpersons Passing along and over the said King Street
at the crossing Of said railroad track, Of the anproach of
trains.
Be it farther ordained, that should said railway
company
fail to comply with this
requirement, shall be punished

nor more than five hundred
