HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 03-10 Building Permit FeeRESOLUTION NO. 03-10 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO RELATING TO ADMINISTRATION, SETTING FORTH ITS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES REGARDING THE EMPLOYMENT, TREATMENT, AND COMPENSATION OF CITY EMPLOYEES AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of McCall has adopted the International Building Code and the International Residential Code; and WHEREAS, Section 108.2 of the International Building Code authorizes the City Council to adopt a schedule of permit fees; and WHEREAS, Section R108.2 of the International Residential Code authorizes the City Council to adopt a schedule of permit fees; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a schedule of permit fees on December 12, 2002; and WHEREAS, certain additional fees are necessary for the efficient administration of the International Building Code and International Residential Code, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of McCall, Valley County, Idaho, as follows: Section 1: That the following schedule of permit fees be adopted for all building permits, including plan review: PLAN CHECK FEE TOTAL VALUATION $1.00 to $5,000.00 $5,001.00 to $50,000.00 $50,001.00 and up All Commercial Permits PLAN CHECK FEE $10.00 $25.00 $100.00 65% of Building Permit Fee OTHER INSPECTIONS AND FEES Reinspection Fee Use of outside consultants for plan checking, inspections, or both. $75 per additional inspection actual costs Resolution 03-10 Page 1 of 2 Adopted August 28, 2003 BUILDING PERMIT FEE TOTAL VALUATION BUILDING PERMIT FEE $1.00 to $500.00 $21.00 $501.00 to $2,000.00 $21.00 for the first $500.00 plus $2.75 for each additional $100.00 or fraction thereof, to and including $2,000.00 $2,001.00 to $25,000.00 $25,001.00 to $50,000.00 $50,001.00 to $100,000.00 $100,001.00 to $500,000.00 $500,001.00 to $1,000,000.00 $1,000,001.00 and up $62.25 for the first $2,000.00 plus $12.50 for each additional $1,000.00, or fraction thereof, to and including $25,000.00 $349.75 for the first $25,000.00 plus $9.00 for each additional $1,000.00, or fraction thereof, to and including $50,000.00 $574.75 for the first $50,000.00 plus $6.25 for each additional $1,000.00, or fraction thereof, to and including $100,000.00 $887.25 for the first $100,000.00 plus $5.00 for each additional $1,000.00, or fraction thereof, to and including $500,000.00 $2,887.25 for the first $500,000.00 plus $4.25 for each additional $1,000.00, or fraction thereof, to and including $1,000,000.00 $5,012.25 for the first $1,000,000.00 plus $2.75 for each additional $1,000.00, or fraction thereof Section 2: passage.
