Mr. Manager,
Per the Council Rules, please see the below requests for information made at the Town Council meeting
on Tuesday Jan 12, 2021.
1. A list of home rule petitions under consideration by the state legislature in 2020 concerning real
estate transfer fees and whether the legislature enacted any such petitions. Additionally, please
provide the Council with a copy of Emerson College v. Boston, 391 Mass. 415 (1984).
2. A list of all referrals made to committee since January 1, 2020 that have yet to be taken up at a
committee meeting and inquire with the Chair(s) of those committees as to why these issues have not
yet started to be addressed.
