BOARD ABSENT: C.LARSON. OTHERS PRESENT: B.MURPHY, ADMINISTRATOR; M.GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK; D.KISSEL, WASTEWATER SUPERINTENDENT; J.PROULX, PLANNING DIRECTOR; K.GOSKA, BUILDING OFFICIAL; AND A.NOVAK, POLICE COMMANDER. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, Trustee Larson was absent, all other Trustees were present. Mayor Collins led the Pledge of Allegiance. There were approximately 32 persons in the audience. PUBLIC COMMENTS (3-5 Minutes) No Comments. BUSINESS MEETING 1) APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA Trustee Lamb moved to approve the Agenda. Second by Trustee Bonuchi. Vote by roll call. Larson, absent; Newton, yes; O'Rourke, yes; Wojowski, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Lamb, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried. 2) ROCKTOBER BEERFEST Trustee Newton moved to approve the proposed Rocktober Beerfest event to be held on September 21, 22, and 23, 2018 on a portion of the Village-owned PACE Park 'n' Ride on Van Dyke road, subject to the stipulations noted in the staff report. Second by Trustee O'Rourke. Mr. John Barry, CEO/President of Star Events, reviewed the proposed event. Mr. Barry addressed security concerns and pointed out that he will hire off-duty police officers and will also work closely with the Plainfield Police Department. Vote by roll call. Larson, absent; Newton, yes; O'Rourke, yes; Wojowski,yes; Bonuchi, yes; Lamb, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried. Trustee Bonuchi moved to adjourn the Special Meeting. Second by Trustee Lamb. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:24 p.m. `.- Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk
