A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
RESPECTING CITY PROPERTY; DECLARING PROPERTY SURPLUS TO THE
NEEDS OF THE CITY; AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF THE SURPLUS PROPERTY;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of McCall has acquired certain property for the purposes of
carrying out services in the public interest; and
WHEREAS, The property listed on Exhibit "A" has become obsolete, worn out or
otherwise no longer needed to carry out City services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Mayor and Council of the City of
McCall that:
Section 1: The property listed in Exhibit "A" which is annexed hereto and made a part of
this resolution as set forth in full herein, is surplus to the needs of the City.
Section 2: The City has utilized Propane Equipment & Supply, of Salt Lake City, Utah,
to find a buyer for a surplus property. After working diligently to locate a buyer, Propane
Equipment & Supply has now found a party interested in purchasing the surplus property
for $5,000.00.
Section 3: Having conducted a thorough search for a buyer and receiving adequate
consideration for the surplus property, the City Clerk is hereby ordered to dispose of the
property listed in Exhibit "A" for $5,000.00 cash. The City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute a bill of sale for the surplus property, with the requirement that the buyer is
responsible for all costs associated with delivery of the property.
Section 4: This resolution is effective upon its passage and approval.
Passed and approved this 13th day of February, 2003.
