Presentation by GHD on the Downtown Beaumont Revitalization Plan.
Consensus to receive and file.
C.3 CUP2023-0076 Beyond Beaumont Food Mart Amendment for Modification
of Design of Fuel Canopy
Motion by Commissioner Cooley
Second by Vice Chair Stephens
Public Hearing opened at 7:17 p.m.
M. Ramirez – Manufacturer in China went out of business and they are
trying to locate another company to make the tulip designed pillars. Asked
for 24 months to work on getting the pillars, but would like to open the
business in the meantime.
Public Hearing closed at 7:36 p.m.
Approve Conditional Use Permit CUP2023-0076 with modifications of
implementing a cash bond in the amount of the improvement to be
released upon the construction of the canopy as originally designed
and approved, subject to the attached Conditions of Approval; and
And direct staff to prepare a Notice of Determination for the applicant
to file with the Riverside County Recorder

C.4 PLAN2023-1033 for Consideration of a Sign Program for the Beyond Food
Mart at 1189 E Sixth Street (APN: 418-122-028)
Consideration of a Sign Program for the Beyond Food Mart project
associated with the previously approved project located in the Sixth Street
Mixed Use Zone.
Motion by Vice Chair Stephens
Second by Commissioner Southard
To a pprove PLAN2023-1033 for the Beyond Beaumont Food Mart
Sign Program as presented.
Approved by a 4-0 vote
