Call to Order; Roll Call
A. Mayor Murray called to order at 7:04 PM; upon roll by Clerk Treasurer Teresa
Glenn Councilors John Lanie, Mark Hammer, Jinsie Bingham, Terry J. Smith
and Adam Cohen present.

A. Street Closure
1. October 10, 2008 from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM- DePauw University — Angela
Nally
a. College Street between Olive & Hanna

b. Hanna Street between Locust & Indiana
i. Angie Nally spoke regarding this request for the
inauguration of President Brian Casey. She has spoken
with Greencastle Police Department and Greencastle Fire
Department. Motion by Adam Cohen to approve as
requested, second by Terry J. Smith, unanimous approval.
2. October 10, 2008 beginning at 5:30 PM - Greencastle High School —
Homecoming Parade — Terri Collins not present
a. Motion by John Lanie to approve as requested, second by Jinsie
Bingham, unanimous approval.
IV. Old Business
A. Ordinance 2008 -14 — An Ordinance Establishing The Size Of The Departments
Of City Government Of The City of Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries For
The Employees Of Such Departments And fixing The Salaries Of Certain Other
Appointed Officials For The Year 2009, Second Reading
1. Motion by Mark Hammer to approve on second reading, second by Terry J.
Smith, unanimous approval.
V. New Business
A. Resolution 2008 — 22 — A Resolution Reaffirming Ordinance 2008 -13, An
Ordinance For Appropriations And Tax Rates
® 1. Mayor Murray read this resolution in its entirety. Mark Hammer asked
questions regarding particular items on budget forms for Clerk Treasurer,
Fire Department, Mayor budget did not include PERF for administrative
assistant, Cemetery, and asking that Clerk Treasurer make these
S corrections and provide copies to the Council.
a. Motion by Adam Cohen to adopt Resolution 2008 -22 as presented
with corrections noted, second by Terry J. Smith, unanimous
approval.
B. Councilor Smith shared that there will be a motorcycle charity ride this weekend
for the Humane Society and invited everyone to come out and help any way
they could.
VI. Adjournment
A. Motion by Jinsie Bingham, second by Mark Hammer to adjourn at 7:25 PM,
unanimous approval.
