C.P.Lovienbach,Mayor,and L. T. Fry, O.N.Casey H.C.T.F'wing L.C.Rollins J.T.Hourihane,Councilmen. The Recorder beim, absent -the Mayor appointed John T.Eourihane,record- er pro tem. The Mi.r_utes of the last meoting were read and approved. Mr. L. C. Hoge, Committee from the Chamber or Commerce,appearea before the Council and urged that the Town appropriate a sum of money towards the repairs or making of a road from the Loudoun Orchard Cols, prop- erty to the grade at a point known as Powell's branch,a distan- of three miles. Thereupon it was moved seconded and carried that an ap- propriation of five hundred ($500.) dollars be made for the above pur- pose provided that the entire amount, req,ired be raised. Mr. F.L.MeFarland,Committee from the Chamber of Commerce also ap- peared before the Council,urging that something be done to better the light conditions of the town. The Mayor appointed the pr3sert Light Committee of the town to confer with the committ-e appointed by the Chamber or Commerce to see what could be done in this matter.
