On account of not having, a full board the bids for renting of Town Hall
was deferred to a special Meeting to be veld on June 20th 1921.
The following certificate of the election for Mayor and Councilmen held
in Leesburg, Vs.on Jure 14th was received and ordered spread upon the min-
utes,viz;

At a Special Meeting of the Mayor and Common Council held in the Council Chamb-
ers in the Town of Leesburg Va.,or Jure 20th 1921 called for the purpose of
disposing of the bids for the rental of the town hall and to award a contract
for hauling slope.

The Recorder being absent,the Mayor appointed John T.Hourihane recorder pro tem.
The Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
The Bids for the rent of the Town Hall were opened and are as fcllows,-

The Bid of Ross and Co.,was accepted and contract made. A recorded vote was
called for and is as follows- For Ross & Co.,Sadfer,Ewing,Rollins,Hourlhane.
For Hines & Co. -Fry and Casey.
The contract for hauling slops for one year from July 111921 to June 30
1922 was awarded Mr Thomas Alexander at the price of $400, per year.

Application of C.F.Norris for a sewer to run from his house to
Market street a distance o" 250 feet and connect with town sewer at
that point,was referred to Water Committee to investigate and report y
at the next meeting. '
Application of Miss Anna Hill to connect with Sewer. on Cornwall
street Was referred to Water CommittFe for a report.
The Mayor was directed *.o order a car load of clean stone egip4
Prom Belmont Tran Pock Co. )for uge on trte streets.
