At a Regulmr Meetira r th#a uevor and Common Council held in the Council
Chambers in the town of Leesburg Va.,on August 23,1921.
Present- Hon C.R.Lowenbach.mayor,and
W.C.Saffer,
H. C. T. Ewing,
O.N.Casey
L.T.Fry
J.T.Hourihane,Councilmen,
The Recorder being absent the Mayor appointed John T. Hour ihane,Re corder
pro tem.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
Oaths of Office of the Mayor and newly elected Councttl,duly sworn to,were
presented to the Council and being in due form,are ordered to be filed .
In the matter of the Application of C.R.Norris for a Sewer:
Messrs.Fry and Saffer,the Water Committee,reported that they had
contracted with J.H.Turleyto lay a sewer on Wirt street from the North side
of C.R.Norris house to connect with the main sewer at the corner of Wirt and
Market Streets,a distance of 250 feet,with 8 inch terra cotta pipe,at a cost
of ,0,22.4.00 for said work,one half of which is to be corn by Mr. Norris and
the other half by the town of Leesburg Va.,The depth of the sewer in front
J of the Norris residence to be 4 1-2 feet.
Thereupon it was moved,seconded and ordered that the action of the Water
Committee and Sewer Committee in reference to the above work be apercwed.
In the matter of Anna C.Hill's application for a Sewer.
Obdered that this application be referred back to the Water Committee
for further investigation and report at the next meeting.
Ordered that Ross k Co. ,file with the Counctl of this Town a bond in the

4d r penalty of 01000.,with approved security,in accordance with tY.eir contract
" 0 for the rent cf the Town Hall.
