The minutes of tre last meeting viere read and signed. ✓L fd This meeting was called for the purpose of considering the purchase of an gine V enfor the I R pumping station. The Water Committee reported that the en- gine in use was insufficient. On motion made and seconded it was ordered ro� that a six horse power Fairbanks Engine be purchased and installed as soon as iry NNVe possible. There being no further business,on motion,the Council adjourned. Recorder QO 79 At a Regnilar Meeting of the ;Mayor and Common Courcil hold in the Colmcil Chambers in Leesburg,lra.,on October 25th 1921. Present- Hon. C.P.Jarney,Msyor, John T.Hourihane,Reeorder,and W.B.Caviness, O.B.Bradfield L.T.Fry H.Q.T. Ewing W.C.Saffer,Councilmen. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. A petition with the names of twenty one citizens was presented to the Council to the effect that the business conducted by Max Davis was a nuisance and should be abated- Thereupon it wev moved,seeonded and ordered that the Sergeant be instructed to notify Mr,Davis that his said business is a nuisance ar 1j;fi and that he must move the hides add other objectibonable matter outside o' the Corporation of Leesburg Va.,by or before the 10th day o' N w.192_l,end that he shall refrain from butchering animals or poultry on his premises in the town.
