The Finance Committee bpw ir.c T1 is day reuorted to V�-L Colinctl that
a License taV, oP 45., effective on January lst i922,should bo assessed
agairs` all automobiles and trucks owr_ed and operated in the coroorate
limits of this town,therefore,be it resolved,that a license taX of •A,5.,be
and the same is r,ereby assessed on all automo,'>11es hrd trur:ks owned -i-d
ope^atccl within Vlis town,the sane to be Hue ern rn>,,-��lly on the
1st day of 0anuary 1922` and Fach succeeding year thereafter. And any person
owning.& operating any automobile or truck vrho stall fail to pay said
license taX for a period of30 days after the first day oP January of each
year shall be liable to a fine not to eXceed the sum of $10.,to be imposed
in the mode prescribed by lav:.
The Finance .Committee made a verbal report in reference to the $3000.,
for street repairs,and this matter was continued.
On motion, it was ordered that the Water Committee w.C.",hit•more as-
certain the cost of pun:pini; water at the pumping station ana report to the

next meeting of tie Council.
